For the fifteenth year in a row, the striking exhibition of the “Friends of the Sea” project is touring town squares and waterfronts along the Croatian Adriatic. During the summer of 2025, the exhibition will be seen by a large number of visitors in destinations across Istria and the Northern Adriatic.
The 2025 exhibition – Friends of the Sea: “The Rhythm of Light”
The 2025 edition of the “Friends of the Sea” exhibition explores life at sea, featuring 30 large-format works that showcase the world through the eyes of photographers capturing authentic moments in the optical play of light.
The aim of this exhibition is to showcase to both local and international visitors Croatia’s high level of visual media culture, through photography that captures life in a unique way—through the rhythm of light and shadow. The selected photographers’ artistic excellence is reflected in their distinctive visual aesthetic and interpretation.
The works were curated by the expert team from the Rovinj Photodays Festival, and the featured artists are: Petar Trinajstić, Ivo Pervan, Ivan Kosić, Mario Romulić i Dražen Stojčić
