We are delighted to invite all photography enthusiasts to participate in the annual Rovinj Photodays competition!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The competition is open to the entire international photography scene from January 13 to March 2, 2025<\/strong>, under the title:<\/p>\n

International Competition of Contemporary Photography \u2013 18th Rovinj Photodays<\/strong><\/p>\n

Photographers are invited to present their works in one or more official categories by adhering to the precise rules and submission protocols detailed on the festival\u2019s official website: www.photodays-rovinj.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

AWARDS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Presentation of all finalists’ works with corresponding author statements on the official website<\/li>\n
  2. Exhibition of selected finalists’ works during the festival in Rovinj<\/li>\n
  3. All nominated works from the final exhibition will remain in the museum\u2019s permanent digital collection<\/li>\n
  4. Written recognition for all winners and finalists of the final exhibition<\/li>\n
  5. An official digital catalog of the final exhibition for all finalists<\/li>\n
  6. Winners in each category will receive free half-board accommodation for two at Island Hotel Katarina during the festival\u2019s final event in May 2025<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    GRAND PRIX<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Cash prize of 2,000 EUR<\/li>\n
    2. A solo exhibition with a corresponding catalog during the festival\u2019s final event in May 2026 in Rovinj<\/li>\n
    3. Free half-board accommodation at Island Hotel Katarina during their stay in Rovinj in both 2025 and 2026<\/li>\n
    4. Special placement in the museum\u2019s collection, where the work will be curated either in digital or printed form (author\u2019s choice)<\/li>\n
    5. Recognition: Grand Prix Photodays 2025<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      SUBMISSION RULES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Entries must consist of photographs or series of photographs created within the past two years.<\/li>\n
      2. Each submission may consist of a single photograph or a series of photographs on the same theme. A short biography (up to one page) and a work statement \u2013 up to one page in the native language and English \u2013 must be attached to the submission.<\/li>\n
      3. A participation fee of 20 EUR \/ 20 USD is required.<\/li>\n
      4. One fee covers a total of three submissions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Participants may submit photographs in six categories: Architecture, Documentary, Fashion, Landscape, Nude\/Body, and Portrait.<\/strong><\/p>\n

        All submissions will be received by the organizer and forwarded to the jury panel<\/strong>. This year\u2019s jury consists of:<\/p>\n

        • Dino Rekanovi\u0107<\/strong>, Director of the Rotlicht Analog Photography Festival and Gallery Photon, Vienna (AT)<\/li>\n
        • Steffania R\u00f6ssl<\/strong>, Photographer and Director of SIFEST (IT)<\/li>\n
        • Hrvoje Slovenc<\/strong>, Photographer (NY)<\/li>\n
        • Massimo Sordi<\/strong>, Photographer and Director of SIFEST (IT)<\/li>\n
        • J\u00e1n Viazani\u010dka<\/strong>, Photographer, Teacher, Curator, and Editor-in-Chief of the photography magazine dokumentmagazin.sk<\/em> (SK)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          The competition will remain open until March 2, 2025<\/strong>. Finalists and winners in all categories will be announced in March 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

          The Grand Prix winner<\/strong> will be revealed during the grand final evening in May 2025<\/strong> in Rovinj, where the Jury President, Sabina Salamon<\/strong>, will present the winner with the award and a check for 2,000 EUR!<\/strong><\/p>\n
