Most Koreans dislike this building, which is covered in cheap, brightly colored signs – they believe the signs remind them of South Korea’s chaotic history of economic development. The South Korean government has said it will take all possible measures to solve the problem. And when our government turns its attention to something, the situation changes dramatically. It is possible that the inscriptions will disappear. However, I recognize the positive intentions of the building owner here. They want to brighten up their life by using brighter colors and bolder fonts. It makes buildings beautiful. In my opinion, it is dynamic and interesting, and I do not associate it with the tragic history of developing Korea. These inscriptions speak directly about the life of South Koreans, who work hard and seek a better life for themselves and their families. At first I agreed with the government’s opinion. But now I’ve changed my mind. I will say this is beautiful.
