U Malom salonu izložba fotografija finalista i pobjednika festivala Rovinj Photodays
RIJEKA – U organizaciji riječkog Muzeja moderne i suvremene umjetnosti i fotografskog festivala Rovinj Photodays nastavlja se tradicija prikazivanja fotografija najuspješnijih autora odabranih putem godišnjeg natječaja festivala. Otvaranje izložbe finalista i pobjednika, predviđeno je za utorak, 15. studenog, s početkom u 19 sati, a postava u Malom salonu ostaje izložena do konca mjeseca.

This year’s final mainfestation will be opened on 10th June, and as a part of the official program there will be over 15 exhibitions of photographs, various projections, professional workshops, lectures, reviews of portfolios, numerous gatherings, photo-routes, as well as the award-giving ceremony.
The Croatian festival of photography Photodays is a whole-year project of popularizing Croatian photographic art. It is held at the same time, every year.
Festival activities encompass an annual competition for the best photographs, the final manifestation of international character held in June in Rovinj, and the organization of photography exhibitions and gatherings throughout the year.
The competition is public and open to all photographers living in Croatia. It has been launched with the purpose of evaluating the works and contributions to photography in Croatia, as well as emphasizing significant works within the period of one year.
The names of the finalists will be annuonced at the official press conference at the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb at the beginning of May, as well as on official web pages, and the winners will be proclaimed during the formal award giving ceremony as a part of the festival final night in June in Rovinj.
The winners will receive financial awards in the amount of HRK 5,000.00 for each category, and the photographies will be included in the permanent holdings of the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb. All finalists’ photographs will be shown at the travelling exhibition in museums and gallery spaces of the largest Croatian cities.
The winner of the special category “Artistic Concept” will be provided the opportunity to hold an individual exhibition with applied photographs (including the making and production of works, the organization of the exhibition space, PR).
